Parsley

The other day, Auntie B. brought us a lovely bunch of...

Fresh Parsley!

Auntie B. gave us this great idea of cutting up some of the parsley and putting it into ice cube trays, then fill the trays with water. When it comes time to make soup, just pop out one of the ice cubs filled with parsley, and you have the parsley for your soup! Freezing it this way keeps the parsley a beautiful, fresh green color! We have all ready tried the frozen parsley in some soup, and it works wonderfully!
We had such an abundance of the aromatic herb, that it wouldn't all fit into our ice cube trays! "What should I do with the rest?" I thought. "Dry it, of course!" However, we didn't seem to have a proper place for drying it. So, I came up with this idea...

...Tying it around this animal-magnet and hang it on the refrigerator! You now know of two more unique ways of storing fresh parsley!

We thank Auntie B. and the Lord for this blessing!

  1. I really like the teddy bear idea. It's pretty good. Plus, that parsley looks *really* good, too. :P

  2. Herbs. Where would we be without herbs? Especially Rosemary, the smell alone makes me hungry : ).
