OK, so how do hot dogs shrink when you cook them? I've never heard of that happening before.. is it because of the heat or what?
ReplyDeleteLaRosa's... you people keep showing all this amazing food. I should have had more for supper.
As for the wish for all yer readers, warm is a yes, most of the time; dry is pretty much the same; safe is yes depending on your definition - I'm more sore than I have been for weeks, but man, it's a good sore. Hoping the same for all of you! The warm, dry, and safe, that is, not the sore.
The hot dogs didn't actually shrink while cooking them. It was a joke.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your warm, dry, and safe. I assume your sore because of playing in the snow. We have not been able to do that at all this winter, and I sorely want to! (um... no pun intended :D)

I just checked this again... and Will and I both groaned. Nice one. I'm guessing the pun was at least partially intended. :D
ReplyDeleteYou ain't been able to get out and play yet? That's a huge bummer... do you folks have any good sledding hills around?
To the average person my Aunt C. may look very serious in that picture, but if you knew her sense of humor you would have understood that she was indeed joking. The hot dogs were actually the cocktail kind . Anyway, glad to have pulled that one on you and your friend!!! :D
ReplyDeleteWe do have some good sledding hills, but have lacked the time to do it! :(
