RPCUS Conference

This year's conference was so wonderful. But then, all of them have been wonderful :). I would like to start this post with a quote or two from each speaker during their lectures.

"Do we just know the slogan 'Sola Scriptura', or are we living Sola Scriptura*?"
Mr. Wayne Rogers

"If you do not want to [glorify and be thankful to God], the other option is to be foolish"

Mr. Don Crowe

"If you have no passion for [Christ's] thoughts, you have no part of Him"
"God takes ingratitude seriously"
"Until we know God, we do not know ourselves"
Mr. Chris Strevil

"[In worship we need a] wedding of inward sincerity and outward faithfulness"
Mr. Joe Morecraft

"At the heart of the Reformation was the Bible"
Mr. Bill Potter

"Sovereignty is not an attribute of God. Rather, a consequence of Who He Is"
Mr. Jeff Black

*Sola Scriptura means 'The Bible Alone'"

Miss V. and Miss Chloe

Each night, after the last lecture, there was a dance practice for anyone who wanted to brush up on their dancing skills before the "official" Barn Dance.

  1. Those quotes really sum up the lectures very well!

The lunch was so nice! I had a WONDERFUL time!! Cookie troubles and all : )!

It's a pity you can't see the full extent of Kaitlin's murderous attack on the lid : ). At least the paper airplane was a bit less savage : ).

    Love ya lots,

  2. Loved the quotes. I did have one question, however. The cutting of the cookies... was that so that everyone had part of each kind?

  3. Chloe~
We enjoyed the lunch, too! It is too bad we can't see the whole mutilation of the lid :)Oh well, it shall just have to remain in our memories! ;)

    Isaac~
You would be correct with regard to the cookies. Trying to cut a circular object into sixths is not very easy!
