Of Children and Games

We had the pleasure of hosting the A. children while their Mother gave birth to their newest sister!
Geneva, Victoria, Adrianna, and Cassidy just moments after finding out their newest sibling is a sister!

They all helped weed our garden!

Daddy and Uncle T. trying to figure how to play a particular game

"Well, I think it goes this way."
"No, it goes that way!"

"Okay, if we think this through logically, we should figure it out"
"This is no longer interesting"

Making good use of the playing pieces, even if we couldn't use them for the game :)

" '...If after reading the instructions you are still unable to figure out how to play this game, please visit YouTube for an instructional video. If after watching the instructional video you still cannot learn how to play the game, please create an ebay account and re-sell this game' "

"Are you sure it says that?"

"Ughhh!!! I am driven to desparation..... I have to play a game on my iTouch!"

After giving up on the game, we visited a bit, then said good-night!

Celebrating Independence Day

We started off with several games such as Worst Case Scenario and Apples to Apples
A whispered discussion amongst team members

We then went to the city's fireworks. We enjoyed some great food, as D. shows here!

Enjoying my delicious fruit smoothie
"May I have your flower, Miss?"
Action figure with a flower. How interesting.

The flowered action figure attacks E.

Windmills and Birthdays

For a house-warming gift, my Great-Grandparents gave us an 8-foot tall windmill!

Grandma takes a whack :)

I have many fond memories of helping Grandpa with projects!

"Is it level?"

Yippee! It's in!
