Down South

On our latest trip to Ike's and Meg's, we (as usual) were rushing around running errands before leaving. To give you a little glimpse of what we go through before leaving, we took a few pictures this time! (If you get bored, there are some pictures right after these of a pair of very cute and charming little boys that you might find more interesting! :)

Heading into the Atkins' store to purchase some last-minute items

Garrett, Caledonia, Stewart, and Mrs. Atkins working the store

Mrs. Atkins was so sweet and provided food for us to take on our journey! What a blessing they are.

Cheery sisters and helpers

Then on to the coffee shop

Coffee is a huge staple for us on our trips to keep the driver(s) awake!

Our final stop before heading out of dodge was piking up Daddy from work!
Now on to our trip....

We were late in making our family calendars this year, so we had them sent to Ike and Meg's so we could all get them at the same time!

  1. How precious!! We felt like we were, in part, on the journey with you. Even the kissy good-bye could be felt. You all are so dear. What a blessing to know each of you.
