Attending a festival on a farm

Carving in an old-fashioned manner

Mumzie meeting a dog (Meg and Kate, I know what you are thinking... :))

Uncle David and Aunt Amy signing in. They were laughing because Daddy and Mumzie were the last to sign-in before them :)

Some of the workmanship by a wood carver. He had beautiful merchandise.

Another craftsman making a basket out of pine needles! He also had really neat items.

Mumzie trying on a hand-made hat.

Some great live music while shopping!

Beautiful jewelry made by a lady who went rock-hounding for the rocks in her jewelry!

Mumzie and Daddy admiring some of the Ladies jewelry

Blurry, I know, but I couldn't help but post it! I suppose it's because I'm a sentimental creature :) Here, Mumzie, Daddy and I are eating a deliciously warm bowl of beef stew.

As we walked outside we found out that this is where the stew was made!

Daddy's Art

The soon-to-be-famous carpenter's hand :)

Husband and Wife

Father and Daughter...can you tell? :)

That's better

Family pictures!

This barn has special meaning to us because the farm that this barn is associated with used to belong in our family.

A different angle

Hustle and Bustle at the food market

Beautiful

Gourds Galore!

Standing by the Maid-Right sign

Dinner at Chez Willy's

A few more shots downtown before we left

I love how they have this painted on the side of a store!

One last stop at Innkeeper's

On the way home I started (and almost finished) the book "What he must be...if he wants to marry my daughter" By Mr. Voddie Bacham, Jr. You can read Mumzie's review here.

  1. Those family portraits next to the barn turned out really nicely.

Also, all that fresh produce is really making me wish the dining hall here had things like that a little more often... :P
